Now in its 4th year, Thames Valley Triathletes are once again hosting their highly acclaimed Beale Beastie for adults and Wee Beastie for juniors.
The Beale Beastie is a unique super sprint triathlon that's suitable for all athletes, from novices to seasoned triathletes.
Please note that the swim is in a freshwater lake, and we do recommend that you have some experience of open water swimming before the day. The race is likely to be wetsuit compulsory as it's being held in early June for 2020.
The bike course is challenging, but doable - there are a couple of local hills, but the views and the downhills more than make up for it.
The run is off-road and pancake flat with a great stretch along the Thames footpath. The majority of the run is within the parkland grounds of Beale Park.
You can see the routes here
Please note that the race pack will be sent out around a week before the event. The adult waves start at 8.00am. There are usually 3 or 4 waves going off in swim speed order and at 10 minute intervals.
Click here for details about our junior race, THE WEE BEASTIE which kicks off at around 11.30am the same day.
